In March 2026, PUNCH published a feature on Astracrest Investment Limited and Starcrest Palm Estates — our agric-real estate project that lets investors own land already planted with oil palm, so the land earns while it appreciates.
What the feature covers
- Land that produces. Instead of waiting five to ten years for appreciation, Starcrest investors own land integrated with oil palm cultivation — property value and agricultural yield in one asset.
- Food security. Nigeria imports over $600 million worth of palm oil products every year. The estate expands oil palm cultivation and lets investors take part without needing farming expertise.
- Development first. Site clearing, a security house, perimeter fencing, a borehole for irrigation, a gate house and ongoing title perfection.
- Quality seedlings. A partnership with the Nigerian Institute for Oil Palm Research (NIFOR) in Benin City for one-year-old improved seedlings, bringing production closer.
- Progress. At publication, over 30,000 square metres had been allocated to clients and more than 1,000 oil palm seedlings planted, with planting ongoing.
- Starcrest The Annex. The model extends to coconut, plantain and oil palm on our second agro estate.
In our Managing Director’s words
“We wanted to create an investment model where clients do not just own land, but own a productive asset. While their land appreciates, agriculture works for them — creating an additional income stream.”
“Agriculture is no longer just farming; it is an investment vehicle. Our goal is to help investors build wealth while contributing to Nigeria’s food security and economic growth.”
“Starcrest Palm Estates is just the foundation — and we have only just begun.”
— Adejare Michael Adetomiwa, Managing Director, Astracrest Investment Limited
